“He thinks when he opens his locker door; a monster will jump out at him.” It reminds me that after I watch scary movie I always feel the same thing will happen to me in real life. Once, I watch a ghost movie, there is a boy who is sleeping on the bed but, when he opens his blanket there is a child crawl from his blanket. It is so scary and makes me feel that child might appear in my blanket too. I had sleeping problem on that night I could not fall asleep easily and it takes me a week to forget the scary part of movie.
When I read the book, the reading strategy which I used is to image the situation which Zakie had. Zakie is writing a story and he likes to ask other people how it was. I can easy to understand Zakie’s feeling is because I like to ask other’s opinion before I decide to do something else.
So far, in the story Zakie is writing a story and having fun with his friend at school.

Don't you think that scary movies prey on our fears? Like waking up and finding a nasty surprise--because something happened to us while we were sleeping.
I thought Zakie was a girl? In your first blog you used "she" and the spelling of the name has changed.
